The boys always get so excited to decorate the tree each year & this year was no different. Well, except that Zack was interested this year too. He doesn't remember the tree from last year (since he was left underneath it by Santa at the tender age of 8 wks!) so he was intrigued when all the decorations started coming out!
He did a great job at leaving it all alone once it was up too. I was pretty amazed because i was expecting this year to be full of yelling at the dog for stealing ornaments or ribbons off gifts! Here is our tree once it was all finished & gifts wrapped...
I made a new wreath for my front door this year too. My friend, Jana, gave me a little pep talk (i am never good at wreaths) and told me i could do it..."just put little clusters of things around in sections"... so i gave it a shot & voila! I love it!
We added to our usual lights on the porch by adding a swag over the door with lights in it this year. Simple, but so pretty at night!
Look closely in the above picture & you will see a little dusting of snow. The day we decorated the tree & house, it snowed!! Perfect for our holiday spirit, no doubt! The boys went out & played in what little stuck to the ground... and of course pelted Zack with some!
